Unreal Engine
I transitioned from making missions within ARMA III to making content within Unreal Engine 5 in 2023. While I’m still new to the engine, I plan on using it for all my future personal game design projects.
The first large scale project that I’m attempting within UE5 is a 2D roguelike game called Penguinpocolypse. In essence, Penguinpocolypse is a beat em’ up style game with elements from the game Slay the Spire. I am co-creating this game with a friend, Tyler Camp, who provides creative input and creates our art assets while I implement our ideas within the engine.
In addition to Penguinpocolypse, I’ve used UE5 to create small scenes, such as the ones used for my website banners. All of my work within UE5 is possible due to the ample amount of YouTube tutorials and documentation available for UE.
